Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facility, as well as managing a team of housekeeping staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial cleaning and hospitality, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Duties:
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Manage and schedule housekeeping staff, including training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction
- Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of necessary supplies
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints regarding housekeeping services
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including budgets, schedules, and staffing levels
Experience:
- Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using computer software for scheduling and record keeping
